Sts. Sergius and Herman of Valaam is a relatively small country church, so please be mindful of space when parking in the green around the church. There will be a minder to help everyone fit in! Fortunately, parking in Houghton is freely available, all within a block or two of the site of the reception. There is a fairly large parking lot across the street from the venue which should be available.

Liturgy is the Orthodox ceremony which celebrates Communion. It is similar to a Mass, and is ordinarily about two hours long. It is labeled "optional" because we understand that not everyone will be comfortable with attending, so feel free to skip this part and attend the main service in the same building at 1 pm instead.

We request that you do not take pictures during the ceremony (we will have a photographer there). Take as many as you like at the reception!
